Before the butterfly was the caterpilar.
Sory, but I have shown you the result yesterday. So today, you will see the caterpilar taking its meal on the top of a flower.
Picture taken into the Papillorama (butterfly farm) of Kerzes.

Elle trop mignone cette chenille ! Jolies couleurs sur cette belle macro !
En chipotant : j'aurai réduit un peu l'image à droite...

Great macro Jacques,
Very good composition, good colours, I think the body is not whole sharp, but that does not metter. I like it that the caterpillar is eating the flower. Great job

There is some poetic justice in this, I like t that he eats the flower that he wil be pollinating in a few weeks. I like the picture, but as I mentioned on some other pictures, the focus is not on the head, but on the centre of the body, hence you loose impact because the actual point of interest is soft.

Even though the body is a bit out of focus it is still a good shot. One flower down, two to go

Nice picture, as others have said the soft focus on the head does detract form the image. I think Mogens WS improves the picture.

Very nice picture of this caterpilar Jacques. Colours and dof are spot on though I have to say that it is a littel grainy. This could easily be removed with NeatImage, so I took the liberty to make a little WS on it - hope you don't mind.

Point tomorrow.

Hi Jacques, good shot lots of details and colours look good , soft in focus on the head.

wonderful Jacques! love his colors and the patterned made by it :) The growing plants add something extra on this one..well seen :)
I made a workshop just to clean some grain from the background.

update- oh! no i didn´t ;)) i just saw Mogens already did the same ;))))

Tiens, une connaissance sur TN ! Jolie chenille très colorée, bonne netteté et j'aime bien le cadrage.
