Hello Adrian,
a well captured Carabus. You could be happy that it did not move!
Depth of field and focus are well selected.
The underside of the beetle appears very dark so that structural details are not visible.

Most beetles I try to shoot beetle off as fast as they can :)
This is an excellent capture,definitely one of the best Violet Ground Beetles shots I've seen.

No dobry ten zuk jest! (taki lekko kwaskowy, haha! ;-), a tak serio - fajna ostrosc, bardzo ciekawe detale i znakomite kolory. Mysle, ze fajnie by wygladal na jakims bardziej jednolitym/rozmytym jasnym tle, tak czy inaczej bardzo fajnie!

Witam Adrianie!
Kolejna odslona drabieznego biegacza (nad ID ciagle pracuje ;>). Bardzo fajny detal i dobra glebia ostrosci. No i fakt, ze to chrzaszcz z grupy, ktora zajmuje sie juz pare lat, eh, sentymentalnie podchodze to tych zwierzakow i takich zdjec... :)
