Hi Alexei . I have enjoyed you pictures of the thirsty birds. This one shows theSparrow so clearly. with good detail in the feathers. and bright colours. Dont get your tap fixed otherwise the birds will have no water. Well done TFS.

It is interesting to see that the thirsty birds that you photograph are juveniles, like here a juvenile Tree Sparrow. I can't explain this: maybe a leaking tap is the easiest source of water for them, I don't know.
But I do know that once again you present a fine shot with superb technical qualities.

We, too, had a little period of drought here, but nowadays the clouds finally came and hopefully there won't be any more thirst for the animals.
Your series is quite interesting and even though you have some man-made elements in the photos, they still show a natural behavior of some birds these days.
The details on your subject here are excellent and thanks to your great exposure, you managed to get everything - from teh darker to the brighter areas.
On top of all, the timing - catching it while singing - is just superb.
