A photo I took of a bumblebee that was resting on a rather dead flower outside. I was lucky enough that I managed to get very close to it by switching my camera settings to Super Macro and zooming right in.
It should be noted that bumblebees are known to be fairly placid and humble so you may be able to get closer than you think.
