[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As a photographer, I feel that its my job to see just how close it is possible to sneak up to an unsuspecting animal. Ducks can be docile, and bribed with bread, which makes it a good animal to practise with. Alternatively, you could just buy a camera with a decent zoom.

I cropped and sharpened this image to zoom in more. It was a difficult descion where to crop, not sure what the rules are of making a good picture, slighty off center seemed to work here. I love the greeny jade colour in the picture.

Hi Paul

Nothing common about this nice photo. There is always a trade off between cropping and sharpness. The cropping here is good, but you probably lost a little bit in the sharpness. Good effort in your stalking method. Would it be possible to tell us a little more about the equipment you used? You could update your personal profile and/or supply the info when you upload your photo.

Well done and TFS
