[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Dunnocks at the bottom of the garden have decided that spring is here. They are now courting and are frequently heard singing.
We always used to call them Hedge sparrows. Now I call them Dunnocks, but I remember hearing that they were going to be renamed again, this time to Hedge Accentor.
I suppose this is where it makes sense to use latin names!

Hi John. Wel i did get out for half a day this week and a few hrs today. One of the birds i did see in the garden was the Dunnock. I think we also have a pair in the garden. You have taken a fine close up of this one. With natural looking colours. I like the way they hold they heads a very proud looking little bird.
