What a fantastic photo! The colours and DOF are amazing. The stones in the FG lead us through this wonderful landscape with gorgeous clouds in the sky and a very beautiful reflection.

Always a pleasure to look at your captures, but this one is quite unique...it is most beautiful. The colour of sky, clouds, golden sand from the sun...so as in paradise...
Thank you for sharing this picture.

Excellent shot, well composed, with great clouds and tones. The big stone is like a landscape in the landscape. Very good use of the Circular Polarized and the Grad filter. I would like to make such shots... Best regards,

True we don't see many landscapes here on TN but that's all the more reason for you to keep posting them. You and your images have been an inspiration for me to pursue wide angle landscape photography. This image is gorgeous. I love the low POV and comp. with the foreground rock and water leading out to the wonderfully exposed and sharp sky/clouds. The golden foreground is realy fine. Great use of filters and capturing the moments beauty.

I'm sorry that you feel you cannot post landscapes I have noted a few of them in the past and found them very enjoyable to view.
This shot captures the the mood of the weather very well, excellent composition and colours, the rock in the foreground really shines out, and then leads the eye down the water run too the horizon. One to add to my favorites.

Hi Paul. I am not to sure why you think your pictures are not looked at much here on TN. You are a master of this type of picture and give others somthing to go for. I had a look at your site and it first class . Like this picture of Lyme Regis taken with the clouds coming in .Great detail and rich colours. I find it differcult to write what i think about pictures but this is first class again. well done TFS.
PS Please dont let this be the last.

This is a fabulous capture of yours!! I love the composition, the low POV and the footprints leading you into the picture. Wonderful light and colours and I love the wet look and the turbulent sky. Please don't leave, among all the butterflies, insects and birds on TN the landscapes certainly have a place too! I've made a note of your web site that looks really great - I'll be back there!
TFS and all the best, Ulla

I know it seems that TN is not geared toward landscape photography, but not all of us have access to such incredible vistas as this. Most of my shots are of animals, only because that's where most of the opportunity lies in a woodland area.
Regards and thanks very much for sharing this one.

This one has a real high quality, almost as if it is covered in a thin layer of silver. The light is just amazing and made this a real stunner. I love the high clarity and the very beautiful ominous clouds.
P.S. I feel the same about the change of TN. I too feel that my photos do nolonger belong on a site fully focused on animals, insects and plants.

Paul, your landscapes are truly spectacular!
This is fantastic.
The colours are amazing.
Great sharpness and clarity.
Your landscapes would be sorely missed from TN and I really hope you keep posting them... I'll reply to your email soon!
Well done mate,

This is indeed a gorgeous seascape and definitely a lesson to all people here on TN one how one should look like.
The light conditions here are were simply outstanding and you used your equipment and knowledge expertly. The warmer FG tones look fantastic and contrast so well and strongly with the cool colors in the sky and clouds.
Also, the texture play a high role here - e.g. the golden wet sand and fluffy white cloud in the center.
I have mixed feelings about you saying that this is your last landscape here...
Sure i feel bad that i'm not going to see them here anymore and i think a lot of people will lose a role model but i also understand your feelings very well. I too have lost most of my incentive of posting shots here...there's almost no useful feedback anymore :(
Anyway, hope we'll chat some more soon... about this and more.
Cheers and TFS

Another stunner, Paul. I have nothing to suggest. This is an amazing image, great details throughout -- especially the range in the clouds.
P.S. I haven't been active here much, nor have many of the landscape folks from th elast couple of years, but it would be ashame to lose you and your contributions. Of course, I understand how your website would take your time, fill many of these roles, and might even make you some money.

I went to visit your site, Paul, you're such a great artist! Oh, how I wish you could give me lessons of Photoshop, I just love the way you edit your pictures, it is sensational, so rich with colours yet so natural. Congratulations, to your site, and for this picture too. Nothing is wrong in the picture, the sky is well saturated, blue with big clouds, the sand is saturated too, clear and lit by a diagonal light. You manage to keep all the details, colours, light everywhere in the frame, just like a painter with its brush. Bravo, j'aime vraiment beaucoup,

From my point of view, your usual low point of view, the perfect sharpness and the subtle lighting are the main qualities of your picture. On the other hand, I personally am not very fund of the atmosphere created by the filters. I prefer natural effects. But this is very personal, I know, and it doesn't change anything to the fact that you have created a dramatic scenery.

Excellent composition and colours, amazing detail and features. Wonderful seascape! This image almost looks magical and the ambience captured is awesome. Really beautiful and serene atmosphere, gives the impression of a mystical but also moody surrounding. Just love the shapes of the rock on the foreground. Thanks for sharing once again a view that will only be part of my dreams. Kind regards.

I was just looking at your beautiful homepage and I thought that you should make a book on the Dorset coast with a choice of your best pictures, eventually going with some texts and poems of writers of this region. I'm sure that would be highly appreciated!
This is a most beautiful composition taken from your usual low point of view and reflecting the beautiful light falling on this landscape. I prefer this palette of colors to the pinks and reds of some of your shots. But that of course is personal :-)
