[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was taken at Osmington Mills which is very near to Weymouth on the "Jurassic Coast". I have spent many years trawling along this part of the Dorset coast but had never managed to find my way along this far. After being advised by a friend that it was worth a visit I decided to risk the weather and take a look.
Just as the rest of the coast along here the cliffs were inspiring but I took this shot as I had just slipped on my behind and ended up with this view.
Its a bit lacking in colour but just seems to show just how wet it is down there at the moment.

Very nice Jai and it is a soft image of a rather harsh day. You actually did the weather a service with your image!

Hello Jai
This is great...I love the realistic colour which is true of the weather we are having in the UK at the moment...Perhaps if you had framed with a touch less of the dead scene to the left and then included a bit more of the sea to the right then it would have had a bit more impact...but that said its a great take and great note to expalin how you took it..persil on a hot wash should sort the trousers out depending on the level of staining!!

Great shot Jai and TFS

Hi Jai Glen,
this looks like a great spot, the falls are quite impressive, just goes to show how much rain there's been. Like the way you've framed it too, keeping the next headland tucked away at the back, makes me want to know whats round the corner! Top work, must get down and see it for myself..

Hi Jai,
una buena idea en la composición de tu foto, en los datos no pone la velocidad, quizás un ISO más alto y una velocidad més baja le puede dar un aspecto más iluminado

Salutacions cordials

what does on do on a dull and overcast day??
answer..get on with it!!
just as you have done and used some good techniques to bring out the most of the situation
timed water is fun and a lower speed would have added a bit more..'fog'
good compositional position
as for the sky...i have many similar..
