Cup of Rain
A very delicate and striking shot, the vivid yellow against the dark green BG is great. Nice composition too...and you just need to know where to look for a decent Ploughmans btw ;o) most pubs in the country will still do you a good 'un...which pub did you go to?
Nature showing off it's simple yet colourful side. The rain drops look like little diamonds on your Marsh Marigold. Very sharp details, soft lighting and rich colour create a delicate feeling.
...sitting in Victoria,BC visiting my dad...up early critiqueing...had tea at the Empress Hotel yesterday...yum :D

Cute little flower, standing out so well on the green bakground!
The tiny flower looks like lost in the big frame, achieving a special effect that is focusing even more on the subject!

I like the abstract feel to the photo. It feels as if the flower is comming out of nowhere. The dark BG is probably creating the effect. The emptyness of the photo enhanced the feel even more. The details in the cup and the waterdrops make for a wonderful photo.

My grandmother would have said..."How dainty it is Bobby. So pretty. Don't you want to pic it?". I usually did not, yet as a younger child perhaps to bring home to my mother for a gift from my day in the woods.....
Your picture brings back vivid memories and it's title is apt. A lovely picture thought for the day.

Your Ploughman's lunch reminds me so many souvenirs :) I don’t remember this snack to be that high in cholesterol though and I used to go to some pubs especially to order it :)
OK, back to the picture! This is a beautiful capture of this delicate flower with very natural colors and exposure, nice POV and composition. I also like this DOF. This is very nice. Thanks!
