|Kittiwakes nest in their hundreds of pairs on the North East Coast. Some are on the most precarious of sites, as these are, on a sheer cliff face. One step from a very long drop. Beautiful sea birds and the bright white feathering makes them a cifficult subject, especially in sunshine. I am pleased with this photograph though.|

although i think some parts of this a just tad over exposed maybe, it is a very sweet scene and the clarity and sharpness are great. I also like the composition too.

White subjects in bright sunshine are difficult to balance and tend to be overexposed. You have just about avoided this problem and produced a sharp photo with good comp.
If the rock behind the adult were less covered in droppings this shot would be fantastic, but we all have our 'ifs' and I would be pleased with this too.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan
