[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another shot from my walk a couple of days ago.

This Mallard Drake just needed to have his photo taken.
After watching him paddle around I noticed that he was going into a patch of still water so enabling this shot of his reflection.

The Mallard Duck is well known across the northern hemisphere and is easily identified.

Taken hand held, cropped and a high pass filter applied to compensate for loss of sharpness on upload to TN

The still water in a veritable mirror in this brilliant shot, Bill. In fact, the reflected face of the Mallard looks better!
Good angle of light for this picture.
Thanks and regards.

Hi Williams
what a beauty! The mirror image is just perfect

Hi William,

Thanks for sharing,

Hallo William
I don't know what I like most in this image!
Is it the natural sunlight that brings out all the colours to the best?
Is it the mirror image of the Drake in the water that is so beautifully seen?
Is it the ripples and colour of the water that is so clearly seen?
or is it the composition, framing and point of view?
No matter which one I favour most, it remains a great image that is jam-packed with awesome detail.
Thanks for sharing.
Best regards.

Hello William
such a lovely green shiny head. Excellent view and clarity of the head. The ripples at the back too is lovely to add excitement to your composition.
The agile is so special here. The reflection is fabulous indeed.
Well captured shot.

Very Nice photo, I like the reflection and the pose. I think lots of space at the bottom
