Wow, outstanding ! crisp-sharp close-up, with so many details on its "hairy" head. Great action, with focus on the proboscis showing the nectar licking act. Nice soft blue background that goes perfectly with the rose colour of the flower and the silvery wings. Thanks for showing, Patrick

Hello Matt,
I've been having a look around your TN gallery, you have some fantastic images here. This is excellent, a simple and uncluttered composition but with some real impact because of the proximity. Fantastic detail and beautiful colour contrasts. Good exposure, maybe some OE whites but it really doesn't affect the visual impact of this image. Reading your intentions for this image, I'd say you've achieved them 100%. Great work.

I'm really impressed with the quality of images you're producing with the S7000, I've been looking around for a compact camera and hadn't previously considered the S7000, but I'll check it out now.
