[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Todays image a look back to my visit to Twycros Zoo the other week. This Chimpanse was sat in the entrance to the outdoor area on a very hot day for the uk temp was over 32C. very unusall for us to get that warm, (In fact the weather people have just said that this July was the hotest they have on record).
All the apes and monkeys that Twycross specialises in were trying to keep cool by sitting in shaddy spots or streched out on the ground like sun bathers on the beach. this male Chimp was sat very still just examining his human like hands and occationally looking round to see what was going on. I actually took the shot on one of these look arounds so we could see his eyes. Shot through thick amour plate glass that large area of the pens and indoor accomidation where this was taken. The lens held directly onto the glass in an area of as few fingerprint smears as possible, must admit in future will take a pack of glass wipes with me shift them or go early while they are still clean. Even with the lens against the glass the onboard flash seemed to reflect down into the lens in quiet a few shots, (is this because the glass is so thick it refracts internally downwards?).
Hope you like him .

Not a bad attempt, and he reminds me of someone.

He should be in the wild. Poor thing.

Robert .. I would like you to you to look at the below URL:

You questioned my interest of posting that red lilly here in TN, saying this place is not for garden flowers..

Now let us see, what you have posted here!!! A caged Chimpansee!!!!

This is what you call a picture eligible to be posted at TN??

Stick to your preaching Robert...
