I have lots of attractive shots of deer but instead of the pretty shots I thought I would post this one :) I always thought that the large antlers on the Red Deer were used during the rut but in the peaceful times they can be used as a back scratcher. This stag obviously had a hard to reach itch. He was throwing his head back and nodding up and down to scratch him back. I thought you might enjoy this different view of a stag.

Hi Karan,
i could do with a pair of those sometimes! Very unusual but fascinating view of this Stag and i really like the wooded setting. You've got some great detail in his fur. That's an impressive rack he's got too..Do you know when do they lose their Antlers exactly?

Hi Karan,
What an unusual POV!
It's so good the pose caught, its like a meeting of thorns.
The upper background formed by all that divergent branches creates also a very appealing support for the main subject.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,

Hello Karan,

What an extraordinay photo. It is astonishing how many delicate color tones are in your photo. The light falling on the stag is very good. It gives great details of fur, antlers and plants arround.

Hi Karan, what a wonderful picture. I love the branches in the background just slightly blurred and mixing with the antlers of the deers. I love seeing the strength of the neck and chin, it's impressive. And the colours are fantastic, you are a super deer catcher! Thank you Karan,

Hello Karan,

This is one catchy title :-), I like it and thanks for sharing.

You are right about shots at deer and this is one brilliant and timely capture. The light and details are just perfect and the crop is superb.

Well done,

Hi Karan,
I wouldn't be able to do that now at all. I had a small indoor hockey tournament and am now completely sore.
That new lens of yours does perform perfectly. The bokeh is wonderful and the sharpness is outstanding.

LOL @ the title ... I wonder if I can get a big set of those clip on antlers and try it for myself...
