Hello Nick,
Sorry to hear you're unwell but I hope you'll soon recover and that the sun comes out in England too!
Lovely capture of the Red Deer half-hidden in the tall grass and enjoying the sunshine! I like the way he looks very alert. Great sharpness and fine natural colours. Well composed too.
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Hi Nick,
That's not nice to have the flu - get well soon. A lovely Red Deer almost hidden in the tall grasses. Natural colors, great details and lighting. It's nice to see autumn colors - something we do not see here.
Jane
Sorry about your virus nick...a good archive will fill for you...this particular deer is unknown with exception of images I get from Europe...I mentioned just yesterday to another that they remind me of Sherwood, robin and all....in this case Maid Marian I suspect....either way..I am unclear as to sex...you imply male in this image Nick?

Hello Nick
Sods Law you get some time off work and get a bout of the Flu.
This is a fine capture of the Female Red...You have captured some really nice colour tones here...I would like to see all the detail a bit larger.
All the best

Well, it was a good idea to dip into your archives and to show us this beautiful red deer. I like the lighting very much and the vivid background contrasts well with the calm main subject.

A very beautiful shot from you archive, my friend. Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well...Get well soon!
I like the calm feeling of this shot...the deer doesn't feel at all threatened by your presence and therefore it looks completely natural.

Hi Nick,
that's sounds like a nasty flu, I hope it clears up soon.
This is a wonderful photo of this Red Deer!
That was a great day and we've got to do it again, last time I only had my compact camera and I didn't get a good blurry BG so you can see all the people in my shots :-)
I love the golden light here.
Excellent sharpness.
Great clarity.
Very well done,
Joe
