Hello Leon,

A warm welcome to TN.
This is a lovely image to start of with.
Very good composition with wonderful ruffles on the water surface, reflectionson the water of the boats in the background and a beautiful swan in the midle of all to complete this beauty.
Technically very good work with excellent clarity, sharpness and exposure due to wich all details, including the whites of the feathers, wich is'nt easy, are wonderfully visible.
In my opinion the swan is'nt really the star in this show although it's a lovely bird, but the colored reflections are overwhelming and therefore the eye, atleast mine do, are more atrackted to that colored reflections than the swan.
All together this is, like I mentioned before, a lovely imge.
Very well seen and excecuted. Thanks for sharing.
Really hope to see more of these wonderful images from you in the near future.

Hi Leon , welcome , this is a wonderful photo , the swan is beautiful , with great focus , and detail's . I do find the reflection a bit distracting I think that it is mostly the line's of the reflection intersecting with the swan , it pulls at the eye, but still a very nice image any ways. thanks for sharing it.

Hi Leon,
Very beautiful and well composed shot with a nice low-front POV and great effect created by the ripples in the water. The color in the water introduced by the reflection of the building was a good choice.

Checked out the other photo on TE ... NEAT!!

Welcome to TN, and a great first post to start with, nicely composed with the Swan well placed in the frame, nice sharp details and lovely evening light, the reflected colours on the water are really nice, I have taken quite a few shots on water and am always amazed at what effects you can get, even a old skip can add a nice orange touch!

Your maiden posting on TN is remarkably beautiful.
Though the Swan is captured very well, it is the water that complements the main subject.
It is the combination of silver and gold colours on water that lends a unique charm to this lovely image.
