Mallard

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
While walking with my students to a water reservoir in the hills of North Yorkshire during our recent trip to a school in Skipton, I noticed quite a few of these birds swimming around in a water channel. I do not have much experience of water birds and believe on the basis of a little research that they are Mallards. I guess this is either a female or an immature male of the species. Experts are welcome with their advice.
Thanks for viewing. |

Hi Ram,yes, the quality of the sharpness isn't the best, but needs to understand the very difficult and dark light and the distance too,not easy to do better..good capture of this mallard female very common in my country too.Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
