Deep in thought!
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
Autumn is here with a vengence this morning. In Lancashire it is cold, grey and making a timid attempt to rain.
I am posting a shot that will help to cheer me up and I hope it has the same effect on you. This is the second of my shots of birds in Northumberland. The reason that it cheers me up is that this little chappie had real character! He sat in the bushes and, with a concentrating look on his face, moved his head from side to side as if he was solving a difficult problem! I hope that you are able to sense some of his charaacter from this shot!
The shot was taken in bushes close to the beach at Beadnell. Camera hand held.

Thank you for your visit which I hope you enjoyed.

I love Sparrows, there are very cute and cheeky little birds always fun to watch. I'm glad this one cheered you up (even though he is grey!). I think you've captured him very well there on the branch but personally I think the background is too busy, he would look great against a dark background. I'm sure you'll get another chance, I know that birds are not easy to capture!!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla
Superbe, très beaux détails et magnifique POV.

The textures in this photo are beautiful, the way the feathers are ruffled gives a feeling of a cold breeze, particularly the way the bird is tucked into a ball. Very nice angle you have taken it from too, and love the clarity of the bird and branch. Well done.
