|Another Arctic Tern shot from the Farne Islands.|
I really like the detail in the wings - I used a very quick shutter speed to really try freeze it in action - and these little guys are very fast!
It was fascinating to watch them in their seemingly non-stop cycle of hovering, swooping for insects then returning to the nest to feed the young and then straight away back up again hunting for more.... so much energy they made me feel tired just watching!
Or maybe that was the weight of the lens as this was handheld (with image stabilisation on)...

Very good photo of this Arctic Tern in good sharpness and details. Beautiful natural colours. Taken in a very nice pose. Excellent DOF with this blurred BG. Great composition.

It is not an easy job to get such a kind photos like this one, but You did a great work here. I also like the fine details on wings.
