[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Not sure what Duck this is but it looks a lot like a female Mallard. I watched it come in from the sea and land in amongst thousands of nesting Puffins and Sandwich Terns. Moments after this was taken the Duck disappeared into some long grasses to what I presume was her nest.

A slight crop and a little tweak with levels were the only PP undertaken other than resize and USM sharpening.

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend.

Hi Mark,
Excellent! Perfect timing with the wings back, excellent exposure, great details and colours, everything looks good. It's a great shot and this is a pretty rare bird on the Islands :-)

Did you get any Guillemots in-flight? I'm curious as I only got one which was pretty poor.

Hi Mark,
Very nice shot.
Very good sharp and colors.

Hello Mark,
Wonderful action capture.Timing is great.Details,POV,colors,DOF,framing and composition are excellent.

It looks like your focus point was just slightly too close, as some of the flowers are sharper than the duck, but the result is still very good. Better than any flying shot I've ever done!

Splendido atterraggio!!
Ottima foto.
Ottimo momento!
