Black Headed Gull
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Another from my Farne Islands trip - this from Inner Farne - of a vocal black headed gull.
The light had dulled so I had to ramp up the ISO a little, but I saw this one standing on the rock and wanted to try to isolate it and capture it "mid swawk" (apologies for the phrase but it's all I can think of!). I crouched really low with my monopod and wanted to keep the depth of field as low as possible to try achieve the best foreground and background blur to make it stand out.
Thanks for looking, hope you like it!
