Earlier this year I had the wonderful opportunity of seeing this heron being chased by the gulls as it flit along the shore. settings are the greatest, but you grab what opportunities that present themselve when photographing the un expected.

Hi Rich,not easy a pic like that,i tried this winter to take pics like that on my river but whit very bad results..ehehe...impressive sharpness and rich composition,3 in a pic is very very difficult!Thanks for share,have a nice week,Luciano.
