Your black & white photo gives a touch of art to the rainy day. Lovely spoted bird captured with great details from every pov. Your garden has much more posibilities than my balcony:-)
Best regards, José M.

Although a bit of a nuisance bird, the plumage can be quite colourful.Your B&W rendering is very well done. The composition is very nice, and the three shots are each well focused and compiled.Nicely done.TFS

Despite the bad weather (sorry to hear and know it well!) you have done an excellent job in capturing such good detail of their beautiful markings.A nice idea putting a selection of different angles and poses.Hope the weather improves and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Nice collage here. I like it in black and white, very artistic. The bottom photo is my favourite of the three.
When we have to change our normal way of shooting it can actually force us to take pictures we might never have thought of or considered. So well done in persevering and making the most of it!

Interesting presentation of the starlings. Looks like a scene from a Hitchcock movie, tough they are very different from the crows :-) Starlings are really beautiful birds, metallic colours and white spots make them amazing, though you posted it as a wb.

It looks like your black and white photo brings out the spots on the starling even more. Very nice collage with good compositions.

Very nice triplet of this little beauty. Very good sharpness and dof in each picture. The composition is a little tight and put the bird almost in the centre. The B/W works great but with such a colourful bird it is almost a shame:-0). Very good and informative note.

A great idea and a great result, Karan!
These b&w photos are terrific and very moody!
I like them a lot.
I also like the presentation and and the note.
The details on everyone of them are terrific and the sports seem to stand out much better this way.
Bravo and TSF

Yet another great collage, but each shot is a beauty in its own right.
If I ever submitted a collage, would that be copying or homage?

I see many of those guys here too. What amazed me most about them is those different noises they could do, they are stunning. They imitate cats!!! Did you know that? I heard them doing it many times :) These are nice captures of those birds that I don't particularly like but that I enjoy to listen too :) Details, POV and composition are good on all the pictures. Good use of B&W too. Thanks!

Looks like you had a simular weekend to mine. Forced to stay inside due to the nasty weather. But, you got a back yard and that did gave you this wonderful moment. A collage of three wonderful poses. I like the b/w conversion and the clarity of each shot.

en passant en noir et blanc, vous avez fait une croix sur les reflets verts et rosés du plumage,il fallait oser!
je n'ai pas encore eu d'etourneau cet hiver sur les mangeoire mais j'aime bien cet oiseau.

Hello karan !
This bird is really gorgeous, with all the white spots on the dark plumage. Even with bad light you managed to get 3 excellent pictures. details, composition, greyish colors and exposure are excellent, and I like the way you have assembled them in one single picture. Very well done !
