[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this shot on Bank Holiday Monday. I went to the local wetlands centre and found that they were having a small display of raptors. I was charmed by this tiny Owl with his unusual eyes.

I was told that it was a Scops Owl but I don't know anything about these owls. I will post more shots in a workshop

Hi Karan,

Great capture of this sad looking owl. Not familiar with Scops Owl but this fits the description. Not something you see around here. Very good pose and composition, sharp details, good lighting and colours.

Hi Karan,

He looks sopping wet! Love all the shots of this different looking owl. I just love those big eyes. Beautiful rich colors and shadings and fine details of his face and feathers. A perfect background.

Hi karan,
He looks a bit sad. Maybe its because of the droopy eyes, or maybe because it looks like he got wet. Anyway, the expression is again wonderfully captured. You do have a very keen eye for capturing human expressions in animals.

Hello Karan,
If I see this sad-looking photo I think this is an adult Flammulated Scops Owl, rufous morph, from The W. of N-America.
The photo has excellent sharpness and details.
Beautiful natural colours and a great composition.

Hi Karan, splendid portrait with fantastic details, good colors, wonderful sharpness, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hi Karan.
What a cute and funny a bit photo model Shot is so charming. True portrait work with classic framing and POV, great sharpness and details of the bird, impressive lights and rich colours. WS are great too. TFS and kind regards.

Hi Karan,
This is a very nice portrait of a owl that I have never seen before I think... It looks so melancholic and... wet ? Details, exposure and composition are very good. His colors surely are made for camouflage :) Those different perspectives in WS are so interesting! Thanks!
