[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I watched this heron set itself up in the stream and could see he was just waiting for a fish. Light was poor but I hope I've captured this magnificent fish-hunter nicely. Thes British versions are a little smaller than our Canadian ones, and have less russet in the breast.

Hello John,
Very well done in the poor light with the bird standing out beautifully. Always nice to see some activity with bird photography and this is particularly good. You were well rewarded for your patience. Best wishes.
Neels

really brilliant composition. great shades. wonderful timing.

Interesante trabajo John,
me gusta el efecto conseguido por el alto ángulo de disparo
y el trabajo con la luz, que hace que sea una toma diferente a lo común.
Gracias por tus amables comentarios y buen fin de semana:

Hello John,

You're capturing well this decisive moment that the heron catched a fish by a good angle and excellent tone, so it's always impressive and interesting to see action shots for me. And, the whole colors is harmonized well by natural tones.

Regards,
mikio
