[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

this is looking east out of Seacombe Cove on the Dorset Coast. This small inlet is made up of a series of large, flat rocky ledges and is the perfect place spend the afternoon enjoying the sun, which was very hot today.
I noticed this large crack in the rock that was channeling break water, and thought it made quite a nice foreground when full of white foam.

Hand held and shot in RAW, highlights reduced a touch, converted to jpeg, resized and sharpened

thanks for looking

Hello Paul wonderfull composition well spotted and achieved fine sharp detail and great pov would love to see a sunset from the same place although the light looks fine for the contrast in the detail tfs rgds Necip.

Hello Paul,
Great land/sea/skyscape with wonderful depth.
Beautiful how the rupture, in wich the sea does brake, in the foreground is leading the eye in to the scene.
Wondeful colors, paterns, light and details.
A real joy to look at.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards and have a nice evening,

Hi Paul,
A very stunning POV. It looks like you were about to get very wet. Your idea about waiting for the crack to fill up with white foam is perfect. It does channel my eye into the photo. Wonderful work on the semi frozen action of the water. The high cliff does give the photo a great extra dimension.

Hello Paul,
This is a excellent seascape photo to me!
good sense of depth with the best pov here!
the UV and polar plays a important part in capturing this easing feeling with the strong sun that you mentioned in your note!
well composed and well seen

Good timing Paul to get some nice tide action on that fissure. Composition is nice with a good clean sky (unusual for this country)Best, Brat.

wow! The diagonal composition is very dynamic -- and good cathc with the water splashing up.

This is really nice Paul. You utilized that wide lens well. The sharp rocks and water splash in foreground is very effective.

Hi Paul,
Wonderful shot and you have captured the atmosphere beautifully. I like the effect which is created by the water gushing into the fissure with the foam and splash. The blue sky and the tranquil sea with the cliff on one side looks great. Excellent POV to portray this scene and very nicely composed. Kudos.

Hi Paul

I really like the lead into the picture with the action white diagonal... the waves gave you a great shot there.

Hi Paul,

A lot was said but my first impression is excellent timing and POV. Good shot for a hand held capture at 1/30.
