That is an unusually bright orange spider you've caught here. Good focus on the eyes and I like its defence pose. It looks good on that fern. Well done!

If it were much larger it were be a UFO:-) You give much color, character and focus on a small but scary little arachnid. This is a nice camera you are working with. It does service to the eye! Much appreciated, your time and your thoughts..

A very effective POV!
I like the way you managed yourself to follow the insect's path, through the leaves, to get this shoot.
Despite the narrow DOF, you got crisp details on the insect's head, and the defocused surrounding adds interestingness to the overall image.
Well done and thanks for share it.
My best regards,

the next time I get this close to a spider, I will try to remember that he is defending, not attacking :)
Great macro with superb details and colours

Great focus and contrasting colour - the spider stands out well from the bracken/fern. I also like the way you have caught the light shining through the spider's body.

This is an impressive picture Joey by its proximity, clarity and composition. This is a good choice of DOF that bring out the important details on the spider's face and front legs. Well seen!
