You sure are steady with that lens. How much did you crop this. I don't think we are getting quite that quality with our same lens and extender. But we are using the 30D if that makes a difference. It is a great shot of a favorite bird. I love the profile pose.

The Puffin is number one on my list of birds I would like to see one day. The profile pose is just superb. Beautiful colors and excellent details to show this cute bird off so well. The lighting and background are wonderful.

Hello, James,
I think I have spent too much time on the wrong Trek site. What a lovely shot. From the perfectly detailed, sweet little face to his wonderfully saturated orange billed feet. I loove the way you can even see the detail on the downy feathers of its breast and that bokeh is perfect. Lighting, contrast.. all just extraordinary. This is an awesome photo.
