Wow...I think you sit at home and design plastic moldings which create these fantastic insect I have never hard of...and sell them to Disney or something. Well if you don't you should. Very neat capture from the master of close in shots.

Well caught - I have never seen this so close. Great detail, exposure and colour.
Interesting capture of a Harlequin Ladybird taking off, caught at a good moment.
The sharpness, POV and DOF are excellent and the difficult use of flash at such close quarters is well managed despite excessive reflection on the wings.
Nice shot! What the ladybird was sitting on is open to speculation.

This is great! I love the wing cases open to show the wonderful silver wings. They don't look as pretty without the spots! Amazing sharp details

Joe, your macro skills have become really perfect, going by this huge picture of a Ladybird. You are also using your equipment with greater dexterity. Well done!
I am very thrilled at the rich colours you have captured on this small insect with its outer wings fully open.
TFS and take care.

ce qui a penalisé cette photo c'est que le POV n'est pas extra,c'est sûr que l'on ne peut pas demander a la cox de poser mais je trouve ta photo tre bonne car c'est la premiere fois que je vois ce qu'il y a sous les elytres.
