Hee hee, he looks a little sleepy or is it giving you a wink? Lovely detailed shot with a very good composition. Excellent work Stephen.

Quelle expressio singulière ! il a l'air tout endormi ! Superbe niveau de détail, très belle netteté, et le cadre est original, du bon boulot !

Amicalement,

Vincent

Lovely portrait. Slightly soft focus on the feathers but it gives it a nice overall effect against the sharp eyes.
Regards Toni

I love these little owls they are so cute and there is no part of the world without them. This one is well seen and the eye as allways are hypnotic, TFS Robert

Good owl shot, though there is a fair bit of noise and some strange textures on the right hand shoulder of the bird.

Owls have the most interesting faces. The eyes always have character, almost like cartoons, and this is no exception.A great capture Stephen.Well done.

Fantastic owl, Stephen. I have never heard of a boo-book owl. Very sharp details. Beautiful light in the eyes. I swear the eyes moved on me while I was staring at the picture. Great capture. ; )

He is thinking: "I really need a lot of pacience with this guy over there"... :D
Nice shot and excellent postprocessing. I love your framings, this one with the irregular little line is great. May I ask how you do it? Thanks!

what a expression on the "face"! it looks like someone from "Adams family"!

Stephen, Nice shot with the half-wink a definite plus in your portrait. Good details of the eye and beak..I think the image may be a little over P.P. with the hash-marks apparent in the body feathers, but not bad..well done.

I like this very much Stephen. The richness and detail in the plumage is outstanding. And I share everyones view on your subject's expression. Looks almost like he has a lazy eye.
