I found this small green cricket deep inside big bush.
I am not sure if this species is so green all the time or this one is still young..
Maybe someone know what kind of cricket is this?
I was staying in Jersey Island all summer 2004, I lived and worked in Rozel Bay.
Near my place of stay I found a small pond surrounded by different kinds of plants and trees- this was my favourite place to hunt some interesting insects. I was suprised how many different species I can find in such small area. It was first time when I loved making macro pictures. |

Nice symphony in green!
Indeed this is a quite young Bush Cricket. It will loose the black spots and get wings later on. Almost impossible to be certain with immatures, but chances are it is a Great Green Bush Cricket, Tettigonia viridissima.
Olá Adrian.
Quase imperceptivel !
Me impressiona muito esta técnica que os animais possuem, eles se camuflam entre as cores evitando ataques de predadores,
Parabéns, bela imagem !
