Hello Joe, My neighbor this time. I am not too sure of the ID. But excellent macro shot with superb sharpness. I can see the hair of the fly. Ganesh

Very fine capture using fill flash, Joe.
Those hair on the face and thorax of the damselfly look sharp as needles.
The clarity and colours are also simply amazing.
Well done and TFS.
Hello Joe, my neighbour this time!
A fine close macro of the Common Bluet,(Enallagma cyathigerum) showing good details from the side with fine sharpness.
Though the POV makes the ID difficult I think the WS shows a female Azure bluet (C. puella).
Thanks for sharing this goodie,

Damselfly looks very young with very light colours. Perfect details with every hair well visible. I also like shimmering colours on insect's wings.

No es fácil captar con esa nitidez tantosdetalles, realmente es para dar una clase de anatomía.La luz está también en su punto. Un excelente trabajo.

Sorry for so late today. Our fire has caused me some distress... but well worth the wait here today Joey. You join a group of fine posts for the last workday of the week...at least here int eh US...You have a peculiar and added technique to your insect colse-ins. It puts you in a different league altogether. Very fine work Sir Joe!

I don't think I have seen a macro like this before! It's just amazing to see this damselfly in such detail. I can't believe the hairs on the head and the back. Excellent colors and sharpness throughout.

Very beautiful macro. The sharpness and details are excellent. Great clear colours, also in the BG. Very good POV, DOF and composition.
I think this is the first time I'm daring to step into your gallery, Joe!The shot is a wonderful macro! The colours perfect, and the exposure just right!
But what's caught my eye is the seemingly unending list of equipment!I wonder if i can ever afford eeven one of those! And then there's the fact that gizmos and i are poles apart!I'd never understand what to do with it, even I can afford it at some point in time!
Superb work, and what I'd really love say is, I love the passion towards this art, I see on this page!
Keep up this excellent work, my friend!
Very good macro here of this lovely damsel!
You've captured this side view very well, showing some of the essential parts of the ID of this Enallagma. I remember when i was there, that this species was very common...here it is rather local. I found some populations...maybe i'll post a shot myself, soon :)
Anyway, back to yours :)
The details here are gorgeous - pin-sharp and well illuminated by a well calibrated flash work.
The immense DOF also ensured front to back focus, too, making this a spot-on macro photo!
Bravo and TFS

a very pretty, impressingly well detailed, well composed close-up. I like the soft pastel colours. The workshop is also very well made, and very attractive to look at, too. Those exquisite black-and-white thorax patterns are making that other damsel fly species look very precious and pretty.
Thank you! My best regards,

superbe macro aux détails de grande qualité jusqu'à la bouche finement déssinée. J'aime beaucoup le BG uni et coloré.
