Hi Paul.
I also walked on a seashore today. However, our seascapes are more poorer than yours. Simply amazing view, great rich warm colours and tremendous razor sharpness of the entire scene as always. I welcome your creative framing f the scene. Bravo. Well done.
Alexei.

Hi Paul,
In one simple word "Perfection!". It doesn't get any better than this. Well done.
Paul :)
Hi Paul
This is a big WOW...and i knew it from the thumbnail! :)
I'm really glad for you that the sun decided to give you a nice break and that it finally did that on a weekday :) Look at the beautiful condition it created for you here!
This is one of those shots that if it were mine, i would have instantly printed out the moment i downloaded it fro the camera...it's THAT good!
The exposure here is spot-on, everything is so well saturated and the exposure you managed is superb in every pixel!
However, aside all that, the part i love the most is the composition: this line of rocks in the FG is simply magical and the way it leads the eye to the farthest point of frame is excellent. The cliffs are also wonderful and being convergent to the first mentioned line has a beautiful effect of absorbing the viewer's eyes into the frame. As the "cherry on top of the cake" i find the part of wet sand, especially at that point where it stretches past the line of rocks...that really brilliant!
Overall...let me put it this way: i have to clear a place so that this shot would go where it belongs: to my favorites!
BRAVO and TFS
Horia
PS: there is one very minor details that i would mention: the foot prints on the left...i would clone those out before printing. But, to be true, i only noticed them after looking for quite some time on the shot :)

Hello Paul,
This coastline is very familiar to me and I remember the lovely light and colours at sunset. Your low POV is fantastic making the cliffs look very dramatic and I like the wet sand and the row of stones/rocks taking you into the distance. It makes me really nostalgic!
Many thanks and best wishes, Ulla

Wow... now this has what they call "impact"! There is tension in the shot in that the cliffs lean a bit outward. I love the zig zag rock line that leads far into the scene. Lovely work.

Hi Paul,
mastery in composition and colours. Very interesting place, amazing cliffs. There is a moon on the sky or a bird maybe? Very well done shot!
Cheers

Hi Paul,
The sun came out here today as well. So I think I have to leave soon for a trip as well. Your long wait for the sun certainly payed of. the warmth of the sun is wonderful and gave the cliff a beautiful saturated and warm look. It also contrast beautifully with the clear blue sky. Your composition is highly impressive. The ridge of hard rock takes the eye on a wonderful journey. The details in the FG are impressive, I can actually count each grain.
I can't help to wonder if the white spot is the moon or a bird. Did you also noticed that just above it is a little dust spot?
TFS,
Niek

Beautifully illuminated sandstone strata enhanced in perspective, thanks to that wonderful wide angle lens of yours Paul, the detail of the wet sandstone bank in the FG effectively captures our eyes and points right towards the sea in the far distance near the horizon. A lovely effect indeed!

Have to say that this is pretty much spot on, and one of the best I have seen from here. It's amazing how much this little piece of coast changes all time, with the sand being washed away or deposited according to the weather and tides.

Hello Paul,
Excellent shot of these special cliffs and the stone-"feet" in the front. It's really an amzing view. You also had a fine light to take this superb and interesting picture. Around Bern, we also have a lot of sandstone, the Jura is very close.
Thanks and best regards
Anne
