aparte de la buena pose de estos mamíferos, destacaría una preciosa luz lateral, al menos así me lo parece. La composición también está muy lograda. Buen juego de colores marrones y ocres. Un trabajo prescioso.

Hi Paul. Congratulations for 3 years on TN and thanks to you for showing me the site . This is a very good close up of the Deer. You must have been close to have taken this with a 70 - 300 lens. I do like the pose with all of them looking at you yet we can still see the white rear ends. with good detail and natural colours. well done TFS.

soon i am celebrating my second TN anniversary (in april)
and i already have the image for that, 2 mallards
in symmetrical flight, and i was telling myself i have to
do a photo of 3 subjects (bird or animal)
for my 3th anniversary next year
and you, you did it, bravo, and what a lovely photo
of Sika Deers shot with fine POV, i love the detailed
background to show their habitat, sharpness and details
are excellent and their eye-contact lovely, TFS
Happy 3th TN Anniversary

Well it seems you've been spotted, mr. tracker :)) They've discovered your location and looking straight at you...which, of course, worked out to your advantage again since it gives you a triple eye-contact to further enhance this amazing shot ;)
Happy TN day, mate and i hope we'll all be here to celebrate you on much more occasions like this!
This is an excellent photo to share and express this moment with - the stags here look amazing...and they happened to be 3, huh? :))
I simply love the light here! That low, partially diffused sunlight makes them stand out even better and increases the natural contrast of the scene so nicely. This way, their head with those beautiful anthers are superbly visible and perfectly isolated from the BG.
The sharpness is also great and shallow DOF ensured you have the right amount of blur for the FG vegetation and BG elements, too.
Overall: a splendid shot, with gorgeous natural colors and a lovely composition.
BRAVO, TFS and again Happy TN-day!
PS: if you're still thinking of coming to our TN meeting, we'd love to hear your preference on location and timing :) Just a reminder for the forum thread.

Three Years Paul!
I didn't realise you had been on this site so long. Well your shot marking the occasion is a real beauty, the antlers of these three Sika deer glistening against the dark BG in a great composition. Their poses and your POV are also superb.
Thanks for delighting us with so many images including this one.
All the best,

Forgive the quick comment - I am somewhat out of time...but...
Congratulations on your 3 years as a TN member. Your work, especially the beautiful landscapes make a great addition to TN. I for one can look at them and think that maybe someday, I'll be able to master landscape photography as well as you have. For now though, I get to enjoy looking at your pictures. Great work and TFS. Wishing you another 3 years (and more) of TN'ing.
BTW - that's an awesome shot to celebrate with - excellent poses!

Congratulations for the three years on TN! I wish you many more to come. The photo you have chosen to celebrate this mile stone is very good. You have captured the animals in a very fine position. You have had a good light and you have used it well getting very nice saturated but naturaly looking colors. The sharpnes of the image is excelent showing the animals in great details.

Fantastic image to celebrate Your 3rd anniversary here (although I'm a bit late with my wishes), sharpness, composition and colors are top class each. I especially like their pose as they just heard or noticed You. Beautiful eye contact, excellent exposure, and the "button" - well, not Jenson :) - was pushed in the best second. Bravo, and of course tfs this fabulous job.
