Hi Paul. You are showing your skills in all departments. This is a first class close up of the Thrush. A bird i have not yet got aa half decent picture of. You have a first class one here. with fine detail and natural colours. A goo low POV/DOF. well done TFS.
PS thanks for telling me about TN Two years ago.

Fantastic photo of this Song Thrush in the snow, taken from an excellent low POV. Beautiful natural colours and a very good composition. The frame is a bit too heavy for me. Fantastic sharpness and details.

There is no doubt in identification of this bird and you got it right. Excellent capture of Song Thrush; great low POV, good composition, sharp fine details, nice catch-light on eye, bright beautiful colours.

I haven't seen many bird shots from you but this is a fine shot of the wind-buffeted thrush.
Good plummage details and a good eye reflection.
The snow makes an interesting contrast, texturally and colour wise.
The bird is nicely positioned in the frame.

a beautiful photography of the Song Thrush on the snow,
shot with fine low POV, also fine framing with leaving
a god space in front of the bird, very beautiful luminosity
of the image and colour tones of the bird, excellent sharpness
and details of the plumage, and the catch-light render
the photo always more beautiful, TFS

The bird is sharply shown in your photo as the image quality is good. Plumage pattern can be well observed. You have made good use of the strong lite rendering well the colors. As you have chosen well the low POV the bird is seen from a fine perspective.

It's so fine to get surprised. Indeed, this picture is not an usual "PaulH", and I like it very much. It seems that it is quite difficult to take a picture of this bird and you have realized a perfect one in all technical aspects. Moreover, it's very pleasant and the unusual environment adds to the value.

A fine capture of the Song Thrush in difficult to expose conditions.
A proper good low pov with a gentle fg blur...Top Work

What a cute bird you have captured. And you have done it at your firm style which is represented best of all on landscape pictures. Very rich and nice colour of the shot. Exposure of the image is spot on considering the plenty snow in the frame. Sharpness and details of the bird image also are ultimate and bokeh is excellent. I like low POV and composition of the shot a lot. By the way my Sigma 70-300 APO DG Macro has 58 mm filter. My best regards and wishes.
