[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The muslin moth is common throuhout England and Wales. They are easily attracted to a light (as this one was) and fly between May and early June. This is when they lay their eggs and the caterpillars feed from June until September. They then overwinter as a cocoon amongst plant debris before emmerging as a moth the following spring and starting the cycle over again.

Hi John. You have a fine colection of Moth pictures. This one has an unusual head covered in long hairs . Taken with good detail and natural looking colours. well taken TFS.
