Scotland is one of my favourite countries (just behind Balkans) since I spent there fantastic two weeks in 1994 (Oh, my God - is it that long now!?). I love the clear colours of the sky, sea and vegetation as well as the amazing fairy-like landscape.

The Oban Bay is located on the western coast of Scotland and is a gate to the arhipelago of Inner and Outer Hebrides. From the local port of Oban you may take a ferry and visit all the beautiful islands, and if you take a boat - the seal colonies and dolphins are just within 15 minutes from the shore... Just look on my seal shot...

This year I was there only for a day but almost gave up my duties and went to hike again among these hills... well, dreams... dreams... one day (time is the limiting factor) I will get there again for much longer than just a day :-)

Breathtaking landscape indeed! This is a beautiful sea/landscape Michal, and writing what you did makes we want to go there.
Well composed, good POV and lovely colours. The air looks so clean too. Well shown, thanks for sharing!

Hi Michal,
A beautiful scene. This shot has great colors, clarity, and composition. Well done!

Scotland is fantastic indeed. To bad that one must have much spare time to photograph there: the wheater helps you only on rare ocasions (I stayed there 3 weeks, every day was raining from a gray, boring sky)

Regards, Petru

Ale piekny widok! Zielenie i niebieskie niebo razem. I ta perspektywa z coraz mniejszymi gorami. Fantastyczny, pocztowkowy krajobraz Michale!

Scotland is my favourite country though I haven't even been there yet ;)
I seriously think about going there next year for longer than just a tourist trip. Nothing decided yet, but it's my dream since many years and now it may come true.

Hello Michal!
Wonderful seascape.I liked the place, colors, framing,POV,details and composition a lot.

Hello Michal,
a very nice capture. Composition is great and good colours too. A good one, very well done.
Thanks for sharing.

Truly a beautiful shot, the greens are rich and you have nice detail. I like the sky, but was curious if you took this from a window, I see some equally spaced vertical lines running through the sky. Did a workshop and got rid of the effect which is usually seen when shooting through a window.

What a smashing shot. Is this really the UK? The composition and colours are great. Keep up the good work

Hello Michal!
How was temperature of water?
Interesting view, and to be honest, I jealous a little bit :))) because you was more lucky and saw blue sky there. Just read the date when your photo was taken. You see, I visited England this july too (but not Scotland, only Cambridgeshire and Norfolk), and the weather was not so good for me (as I'm from warm land :) and for photography (the sky was mostly grey and cloudy). The water in North Sea in 20th numbers of july was near +2C. So I have great common impression and grey photos from this trip :)))
Best wishes,

Very nice view!
You have a great eye for good pictures! The colours and light in this picture is very nice and the composition is very pleasing!
Nice details too!
Well done again!

Wow ! I want to be there ! What a beautiful landscape, seems so peaceful.

Colors are great. I would have cropped the sky a little to get a panoramic aspect.

Nice work !

Michal you thiink 1994 is a long time ago? I was there in about 1962... Oh dear!

But the green is still green:

Because these green hills are not highland hills
Or the island hills, the're not my land's hills
And fair as these green foreign hills may be
They are not the hills of home.

Thanx for bring back memories! J.

PS Shot is great, I like the compo, the sweeping panorama, DoF and the colours!

Amazing shot! The vast sea and plains together with the clear sky meeting the mountains at the horizon really make this look like a fairy tale landscape.
