[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I saw this ancient old tree near the river Stour in Suffolk. It is clearly very old and has been pollarded in the past but is now completely hollow at the base with a large hole through the middle. Despite that it still appears very much alive (although this picture was taken in winter) judging by the vigorous young branches. It is well clothed in ivy.
