Hello Andy, it's a great picture.
I like the POV a lot because it shows the butterfly in a bit different way what makes the picture much more interesting than the "classic" pictures of butterflies.
I have a thing about blue BGs in macro shots and that makes me like your photo even more. It has great lighting and details too.
Overall, it's a superb post!

I like the POV and the thought behind it. I think this works better than a vertical crop would too. Excellent detail and colour, I love the contrast of the blue in the background, makes a very pleasing colour combination.

Hi Andy, yes it is a different POV from the usual photos looking down on the butterfly. The composition is good, I like it how you show it. The blurred BG is good too. Well done.

Very original and creative. I like your POV and composition.
I'm just having a little bit of trouble figuring out the dimensions of the butterfly, but that is my problem and I'm sure the lights will go on sometime.
Your colours are nice and the exposure levels were great considering that it was taken upwards that probably presented you with some backdrop lighting problems to overcome.
