It is always quite sad to see flowers dying, especially ones that are so vibrantly coloured. It makes me wonder how they would have looked when full of life.

Critiques [Translate]

I really appreciate this picture of dying flowers. It's not very often that you see someone take a picture of something that resembles death. I think it's harder for some people to find beauty in death than it is to find beauty in life. I have a good "death" picture myself... called "Skull" I believe. Anyway, the lighting and colors of this shot are great. The only thing I don't like is the DOF -- the blades of grass in the background are too visible with too much detail, which I find very distracting.
