Hot Summer Sky

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Over the past week or so here in the UK we've been basking in July temperatures that we have never known before since records began. We've been sweltering in heat of 35-38C in some places in the Country and here, just outside London, it has been 31C today. If nothing else, this goes to prove to you all out there that the UK is more than just cold, grey skies and rain!
I took this pic at 8.20 p.m. It is the result of two vapour trails crossing over each other. I watched the original thin line become a thick sash of orange as it hit the sunset beyond. In my Workshop you can see how it started out.
So, greetings from an extremely hot, very sunny London!

Hi Vicky,
Looks like this out of my window too :-) Beautiful colours and nicely framed with the silhouetted trees (that's where this view differs from mine, I get my neighbours chimney). Excellent DOF for f/5 too, nice work.
Regards,
Adrian
