our canal trip took us quite near to the bank..but too fast sometimes for me to get a clear shot...all those herons...they flew away every last one..
i settled for these in the meantime..this is at 10x zoom and moving at around 8 knots

Hello Geof,
It is seldom we get to see the feet of swans, for some reason photographers seem to think they look far better on the water..! And I agree, the feet don't look good at all -
Pleasant composition, I like to figure out what caught their attention here...
Plumage nicely exposed!
