A view of Jesmond Dene Falls, in Newcastle upon Tyne. This waterfall is man made and accompanied the local mill which still has its wheel and is just downstream of this shot.

It is so great to render this aspect of a water fall,l like cotton. I really like this effect and add something great to the atmosphere.
The yellow spots in the background add nicely to the composition of the pictyre and is well positioned vis-a-vis the pond and the water fall.

You must have waited till neardusk to get this image with the S5000. Still its a nice effect and a lovely landscape that you have presented well.

Nice composition Nick. The whites are a bit over exposed but it doesn't detract from this lovely image. TFS

Nice landscape, good capture but focus a bit soft and it would have been godd to clone out the rockts on the left side.

Belle composition et bon choix de format

A beautiful waterfall that is man made - ah we can do good things once in a while :). Lovely image Nick. Waterfall a little over-exposed but you caught the movement of the water very well and I like the composition. Nice light too. Thank you for posting it for us :)

Nick, a very beautiful effect in this well composed shot.

Great pov, great colors.

A very well composed shot, Nick, and nice and colourful. I think an exposure time of only about 1/2 a second is optimum for this sort of shot. Experimentation is the best way, though. It looks lovely, perhaps you should go back and try some more?

very beautiful effect in this well composed shot.
