I know they can be a pest, but this fella became very friendly and would happily sit on my front lawn having his picture taken.

Hello Mark,
Welcome to Treknature. A nice shot, at first I didn't like the background but after looking again I realised it really is an essential part of the image, as the title suggests. Good detail on the Fox and excellent natural colours. I probably would have cropped the top off about where the car's roofs are, but that's just another view. Nice shot and amazing that he's happy to sit in your front garden staring at you.
Cheers,
Adrian

Hi Mark

Welcome to TN.

What a cute little fellow. You have done a good job on the capture with the Fox in good focus against the blurred background. Well done!

Hi Mark,
First, welcome to TN. This is a very special picture for me because, here in Quebec, we don't see them so easily and as I do love them, I envy you to have had this opportunity. It seems that they are a problem with them in your country; If I'm not mistaken, I think they are too numerous and they can be sick too. But I think this is a beautiful animal and I wish I'll have this luck someday to be able to photograph one so close :-) He is like a little dog waiting for you and I like its expression. This is amazing :-) Well done!

Hi Mark,
I wouldn't mind having a fox as a pest especially if I can get photos as detailed and rich like this one. Here in High River we have red foxes as well but they are not at all photo friendly. The field of depth is superb the only bad point is how the background glares, but the fox is spot on.Well Done. Wow Mark, I have only just seen this, this certainly is a beautiful young fox! How lucky are you? There are many urban foxes in London but they don't hang around long outside of the parks. I am currently on a mission to try and catch a shot of one. Really lovely colour on the fur, lovely sharp face with those great eyes and ears. Do you feed him?
