This species is very interesting for me, because it only has one record from my country, from 2006.

Such a pretty bird is this Zitting Cisticola. How beautifully it is shaped to perfection. The assortment of colours in its feathers is really special, the tiny piece of food in its beak an additional bonus and the proud pose so lovely. A really nice bird which displays beautifully against the soft backdrop. The light in the image is ever so beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Beautifull shot showing the bird eating habits. Of course, technically there is not fault, sharp focus, perfect exposre. Artistically, tight cropping, beautifull "bohkey", simple and sober presentation to keep attention on main subject. As usual, a beautifull work. TFS.

Hej Gert,
Grässångaren is not an easy bird to capture, as you must have experienced. But this one is a superb shot, taken with excellent sharpness and colours in great lighting againsta BG that couldn't be cleaner.
You were lucky to have this bird 'attacking' you. Usually they try to lure you away from their nest.

Hello Gert,
Unfortunately I missed this most beautiful and fine bird-shot. The pictures from the mediterranean area have mostly these subtle light and earth-colors which I find so interesting. And well seen from your part to have taken the shot in the way to have the yellow aura around the head of the Zitting Cisticola. Just perfect!
