a very beautiful bird, especially the ruffled feathers.
The picture is very sharp and nicely detailed and the bird is fine in its shades of gray.
It's stands also out great against the blurry BG.

I have seen one at the Roman ruins in Paphos but didn't get as close as this!

A species of Trush I didn't know, so thanks to show it with your posting. Very well composed shot with almost diagonal presentation and the fine blueish background. Not an easy shot with the fine dark patterns of the plumage. A beautiful bird too!
