L 58-70 cm , WS 110-135 cm . breed in variety of Inland habitats : shores of lakes , Saltmarshs , rivers , in hills and even on mountain sides . at times far from nearest water. this bird is one the good bird in the middle east . I have observed many of them around of Ghori gol lake in NW of Iran , Tadorna ferruginea

I for one can appreciate the difficulties in taking photographs of birds in flight.This is an excellent shot with good focus,colours and POV.

very good capture and great POV, I know this duck, he's name is "ANGHOUT", He live around Khazar sea and Orumiyeh lake. I see many of them 2 weeks ago in NEOR lake in Ardabil.
