[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Now that autumn is officially here, it is time to get out and explore the flowers of that are first to bloom in this season. This is a rather rare plant of shady cliffs of the Eastern Mediterranean. The flower is about 25 mm in diameter, carried on stalks about 10 cm tall. Like many other flowers of this season, flowering before the first rains of winter (our rainy season), this species blooms before it grows its leaves. Note the dry background!
