Ophrys holosericea

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the "Late Spider Orchid", one of of our last orchids to bloom in the spring. I stated the name still appearing in our Flora. However this is probably a variant of Ophrys episcopalis. known from the Greek Islands. The lip here is about 14 mm long. The plant (see WS) was about 40 cm tall and carried nine flowers (WS.) |

thanks greeting lou
I hope to find next week orchids in Corfu
greeting lou
nice striking capture, dash Ori
Bonjour Ishi,
