[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A rare Iris, found here mostly around Moslem cemeteries, thus it is probably an introduced species. The plant is tall, in excess of 150 cm. The flowers rather large: the one in the picture is about 12 cm in height.

Hello Ishi
a composition with very clear details and beautiful colors for this Iris. Great the contrasts and the light on the flowers. Have a nice week-end.

Hello Ishi,
What a fine capture of this beautiful Iris! Excellent DOF and sharpness and gorgeous colours! The ONE nice thing about a cold spring is that the flowers in the wild and in gardens last much longer!
0 - 8 degrees C here this week!!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Hi Ishi,
I love this flower so much, the colour is fantastic, violet in every nuance is my favourite colour ;-)
The light here is very good, nice play of light and shadows in the delicate leaves.
Also good sharpness, thanks
